Substack OPML Export

Export all your Substack subscriptions as an OPML file, ready to import into any RSS reader.

Option 1 — Bookmarklet (easiest)

1 Show your bookmarks bar: Cmd+Shift+B (Mac) or Ctrl+Shift+B (Windows)
2 Drag the orange button into the bookmarks bar
3 Go to substack.com while logged in, then click the bookmark — your OPML downloads

Option 2 — Browser console

  1. Go to substack.com and make sure you are logged in.
  2. Open the browser console: Cmd+Option+J (Mac) or F12 (Windows), then click the Console tab.
  3. Copy the script from bookmarklet.js and paste it in.
  4. Press Enter. The file substack-subscriptions.opml downloads automatically.
